Worth the wait, a great generator!

I was looking for a quality brand generator that’ll run my whole house, including the air conditioner and well pump. I didn’t want a “whole-house” built in unit that I wouldnt be able to take with me if we moved to a different home again. So far the Westinghouse iGen11000DFc is up to the task.
The key features I was looking for included: will run on at least dual fuel, 50amp hookup, and parallel capabilities. The Westinghouse had all of these.
The unit is very heavy but was easy to set up and get running. I haven’t had a power outage yet to run the unit for extended hours but it has run flawless during all my testing and has powered everything Ive asked of it. Because of the inverter, I no longer have issues running my built in microwave which would error-out using my older/smaller generator. I’m confident I’ll be ready if the power does go out.
The only feature I wish this unit had would be the tri-fuel option, that would be awesome. So far this generator has been great!

Great home back up generator!

I bought this generator as a home back up and it’s proven to be a reliable, capable machine! Assembly was straight forward, it started with no issues out of the box and, after break in, I found it was able to provide stable power to critical circuits in my home.
I’ve had no starting issues or power fluctuations. I’m confident I purchased to right power solution to run sensitive electronics during outages!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Purchased as a backup to my off grid solar.
Excellent features. Very easy setup. Runs well. I've no complaints about it as a generator. Only bad thing, typical of most, it doesn't want to start in very cold weather, anything under 15○ out. Bring in to warm first.

The quick start guide is clear and concise. The push button start is an awesome feature! The inverter is surprisingly quiet when running!

We live in NW Montana and it gets cold here. We are offgrid so a reliable generator is very important when the sun does not shine for 4 months out of the year.
