More than expected

Had trouble with the first start but then realized it's not a auto choke. The generator is far quitter than I ever expected it to be.Ony issue 2 issues I can think of are sort of nitpicks but finding reviews on this specific unit befor buying was very hard to do. It seems like everywhere that sells Westinghouse equipment (Amazon, Lows, Homedepot, etc) all just groups the reviews together. You can look up information on this inverter and you might be reading a review of a completely different unit also the instruction manual that comes with it is not very informative at all and is full of grammar and spellingerrors. As far as the unit, its really better than I expected.

I bought this inverter for its electric start so that my wife is able to start the inverter when needed. I also appreciate the increased wattage capacity compared to the old generator. I am happy with our purchase and would recommend it to others.

This Inverter Generator met the exact requirements I needed and wanted for Backup Generator support for my EG4 6000XP Solar Inverter Charger. the iGEN11000 has 8100 Running watts on LPG what I prefer to use and actually set up the generator charge parameters in the EG4 for 2500 watts. That is all that is needed to keep that batteries charged via the EG4 inverter into my 48Volt Battery Bank with my house loads online in grid down situation. At that output level this generator just purrs and is running at about 1/3 to 1/2 power and its quiet and super efficient this way. I have tested it and run it weekly for exercise and it has been flawless. The Features that were required for me were that its an inverter and has the ATS 7 pin Avionics connector to interface to my 2 wire gen controller as the EG4 has a single 2 wire relay closure for call for gen. Not requiring unscrewing the front panel cutting or splicing into the wiring harness to get the gen controller wired in, all necessary wires are in the ATS Smart Switch ready connector on the front panel. The other important factor is a Great American Company that produces Westinghouse out of Ohio engineers this and yes it is made in Vietnam but what products are made in the US these days. I am very impressed with the quality of build and I am an electrical engineer. Things you are required to do is if this will be wired into your home service panel is you have to get into the generator panel of the Westinghouse and make the modification to break the Internal Ground/Neutral bond but this is no different than what is required on most generators of this size. My personal review and perspective, Great/Inverter and Quiet Generator! I feels of quality. Just Buy one!

Very Quiet/Easy Set Up/Starting Features/Looks

Just purchased the iGen11000DFc 10 days ago. This is my first generator I have ever purchased. During my research, this inverter generator was on my list of narrowed down brands/items. Almost settled on a few different ones, but something kept causing me to come back to looking at this inverter generator: has most power in it's class/runs on gasoline and propane/three ways to start/quietest in class.
I made the right decision. It was packaged well, easy to set up, very quiet, and is extremely good looking (nice bonus). I put gasoline in, followed the quick start instructions (using the remote start function) and it took running like it is already broken in. This is staying housed in out toy trailer (28 foot all aluminum) with dirt bikes, ATV's, kayaks, canoes, power washer, air compressor, and a 2008 Goldwing. This is it's primary use, but a bonus for us is, it is powerful enough to hook to the hose in case of emergency power outages.

I have it set up in our toy trailer with the exhaust facing the front ramp door so it can be run while in the trailer. We are able to still hold a normal conversation (without raising our voices) while in the trailer with the generator running in normal mode (didn't have to be in Echo mode for this to happen).
I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting/needing an Inverter Generator. I have a good understanding of the importance of a pure sinewave inverter if using sensitive electronics (which will happen while camping in the toy trailer) so in my opinion this generator will/does fit our needs/requirements extremely well.
Did I mention: "it is very good looking & quiet" ?

After a lot of research I chose this model because it covered all of my needs for a generator. Also having the remote start up is a plus. Easy assembly. Of all the generators that I have had over the years this one beats them all.
