Great Inverter Generator

As a first time generator owner, I was impressed with the ease of use, features, and power. I hooked it up to propane, and it started on the first push of the button. I was pleased that it ran relatively quiet at full load. I hired an electrician to install a generator interlock system, and now I'm prepared for hurricane season. I love the tri fuel option and very happy with my purchase!

Pro's: Well built, easy on/off no-tool access panels, starts on 1st try every time, easy assembly, dual fuel is a big plus, oil changes can actually be done without spilling a single drop due to the oil drain tube, air filter is easy to access and the included remote on/off fob is a nice touch. Con's: only minor, for as heavy as this unit is I would have liked a sturdier foldable handle and with the power this unit produces (I wish all manufacturers would incorporate) a bonded/unbonded toggle switch for easy selection between extension cord usage and whole home transfer switch hook up would be useful.

Workhorse generator

We bought this 11K inverter dual-fuel generator as a backup power source for our house during hurricane season. At 11K it's large, but easy to move around with the push handles. With straightforward instructions and a push button to turn on, the unit was easy to set up and test. The unit runs equally well with both propane and marine fuel and found no difference in db noise level with either fuel source. The running noise level, for an 11K generator, was good - better than a vacuum cleaner. The quick start guide is outstanding and worth getting laminated. It also includes a table for a suggested maintenance schedule, which is invaluable information.
The unit is well-built and has removable side panels for easy access to engine parts, which are well laid out, compact, and neat. The control panel is also well laid out. And if 11K is not enough power, parallel operation allows for linking two compatible Westinghouse generators for combined running and peak power output. With the Westinghouse brand of reliability, we expect to have this generator for a long time.
The unit is well-built and has removable side panels for easy access to engine parts, which are well laid out, compact, and neat. The control panel is also well laid out. I haven't had the occasion to use it yet, but assembly and instructions were great. It started right up. I bought it for emergency power outages for my home.

Just received the generator

I just received the generator! Unboxing and setup was easy. I followed the online instructions on how to float the ground. I did that before adding the oil and starting it up. It ran right away on propane. I ran it for a few hours for break in and then plugged it into my electrical panel via a 50amp connection and it ran everything in the house that I needed it to, including my A/C unit. I do have a soft start on the A/C unit so it all worked as it should. Very pleased.
