Nice generator but

Followed all instructions, started great. Gas gauge is inoperative with 1/4 tank. Please advise.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have to say I'm very pleased of quality of this product. I am a mechanic by trade and this unit has everything you need to be in a good spot if power goes out. It even has a meter for time used so you can make sure you keep up with maintenance, I love this feature. Not only that it has every fuel source you could possibly need in a pinch thats why I purchased mine. Also comes with a battery & a charger, some of the units I looked at didn't have battery included.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not use yet, but well built , Great unit and should be a great asset for this upcoming hurricane season. Should be advertised as a Gulf coast asset.

Great features easy setup

I just received this Generator and am in the process of setting up. I plan on using the 3/4 inch natural gas line for fuel as recommended from a previous reviewer. I expect this generator to run my whole house (one ac unit) with the exception of the dryer and ac simultaneously. I will update post once the setup is complete.

Simple and reliable

With storm season forecast to be terrible, it was time to get a generator in the event of sustained power loss. In researching generators, the Westinghouse 10500TFc was very highly reviewed and a friend who's in the electric business recommended the unit. Assembly was easy, as were the instructions for use, and the first time we fired it up to test it, it came immediately to life and produced more than enough energy to power the necessities of our home. And thew price was lower than I expected to pay. Couldn't be happier with the purchase, the unit and the peace of mind it will bring should we get a serious storm.
