Great Tri Fuel Generator to run most of my home

I bought this generator with the purpose of being able to run most of my home in case of a power outage. Having the ability to use three types of fuel was important. I am choosing to use natural gas as that is what my home uses for cooking and heating. I installed a manual transfer switch into my breaker panel and ran a 50 amp hookup on the exterior of my home. With this generator and my setup I can run my central a/c unit, two refrigerator/freezers, my gas stove/oven and microwave, washer and gas dryer, family room lights, master bedroom lights, a spare bedroom and a bathroom. Even with all.of.theae running, I would still be able to.run additional items off the 120v outlets on the generator. This generator is going to add piece of mind that should our power go out, we would still be able to live comfortably until power is restored.

Bought for home standby during our common blackouts here in Houston. Handles my whole 2000 sq ft house with easy on my nat gas line

Easy to use

I just got the generator and it was very easy to start. I used natural gas and it started right away. The noise level is not bad and even when I connected my portable AC, fridge and a large freezer the noise level remained the same. This is going to save my sanity this coming storm season.

Some assembly required

This is a beast. It is very heavy and requires a bit of assembly. We plan to use it in the regular power outages that we experience due to the poor electric infrastructure here in Texas. The generator runs smoothly. Loudly, but effective. We love the tri-fuel option.
