Had it delivered. It came strapped to a pallet. Well packaged and protected. The wheels and feet were simple and easy to install. Would highly recommend Westinghouse generators.

Great Backup Generator
on August 24, 2024

I bought this generator as a piece of mind. so far I only used the gasoline for the brake-in and tested with my ac on my home and some lights, ceiling fans, TVs with no trouble at all.
I will be hooking on to my natural gas within a week or so but I Know it will work flawless.
Oh and the ease of the remote start gives it an A+.

Great Unit with Options

I got this unit to run our house during our increasingly frequent power grid failures in coastal Texas. I like being able to run it on natural gas, propane, or gasoline. Combined with a 50A generator inlet with manual transfer switch and running in propane, this unit can supply enough juice to run our A/C unit, two refrigerators, a freezer, and about two dozen lights, fans, and gadgets with no issue. Great purchase and very competitive price versus other brands.

Home backup Generator Tri-fuel
on August 23, 2024

from Spring, TX
I've just purchased a Westinghouse generator to backup my home during a power blackout. This is a tailor made solution which is not "Automatic" like some of the much more expensive 'whole-house' backup setups. The design is to backup our most essential power during extended power failures, such as may occur during severe storms in any season! The operation requires a many connection and startup which takes only a few minutes. It involves connecting a 50A power cable prepared by our professional electician and flipping one interlock switch. It also requires one to disable some of our breakers at the home panel such as to keep only the power flowing to a budgeted most essential devices. The total power budget on this model is around 8000 Watts on any of the three fuels : Gasoline, Propane or Natural Gas. So, one has to make a compromise to prevent overloading this generator. In our case, it will be adequate for all internal lighting, internet supply, refrigerators, gas heaters ignition, some occasional water pumps and not least our smaller A/C unit in part of our house where we would weather the power outage in complete safety and comfort. This has not yet been tested in a real blackout, but we have made provision to use our city natural gas supply as well as some propane bottles and/or gasoline portable reserves. With a bit of common sense and understanding, this arrangement should be adequate to weather most storms or long outages, while preserving the contents of our fridge and enduring extreme weather (hot or cold).in relative comfort and predictability.
