I've only turned it on but not actually plugged it in to operate any equipment. It is extremely loud with no load. The product literature mentions 70dB. It is more like 110dB or more - again, with no load. After we test/use this generator under load I'll update this review.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Amazing setup instructions, very simple and easy to follow. Literally plug and chug! It started with a push of a button and ran smoothly. The transfer of power to the house and ran with no issues! I love this generator and what a great purchase!

Great product design.

I received this item early January. the packing and assembly instructions were very well done, and initial assembly and oil fill were quite simple. Start-up instructions were also well done and straightforward. I did the initial run-in on natural gas, and the unit started easily and ran quite smoothly. In spite of the unit weight, the unit is easily moved on the wheels. I have not experienced a power failure yet but have total confidence that the unit will perform well. Looking forward to years of availability and service from the unit.

So far as as advertised. Easy to unbox and set up. Easy to start up for the first time. Looking forward to my first use with a load.
