What a Beast!

First, the packaging was amazing and assembly was a breeze. You can tell out of the box, this is such a well made generator. After breaking it in for five hours on half a load, then changing the oil, I slowly started adding my entire house one big appliance after another until I had my whole home powered, including 2 refrigerators, 1 freezer, water well, 2 75 inch TVs, 4 electric floor heaters, etc. What was amazing, each time I added an additional load, this generator didn’t miss a beat or sound different. There was absolutely no degradation in power. It was pure power as if supplied by directly from the power company.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So Far So Good...

I purchased this generator to supply power to our house due to increasingly common preplanned power outages by the energy company. I just finished assembling and testing this generator, and so far I'm quite pleased with the unit. Assembly was straightforward and the directions in the service manual were well written and clear. The onboard battery arrived pre-charged, so after adding the supplied oil, and connecting the generator to our propane BBQ tank with the supplied propane line, the generator started right up. Using a separately purchased 50amp rated power cord and manual transfer switch, we hooked the generator to the home's electrical, and started receiving good consistant power to the house. I'm quite happy with the generator and would highly recommend.

Generator appears to be very simple and easy to use. Would only want the propane hose to come with an adapter for the 100lb bottles instead of just the 40lb and lower.
