Nice generator, but could be improved

Haven't used it much yet, but seems like a solid quality generator & the low THD level is a big plus. On the downside, the installed carbon monoxide shutoff appears to be both a nice benefit & a potential failure. There doesn't seem to be a simple way to bi-pass/modify the CO sensor if it fails or when using in an enclosure. An extended wire harness could be useful to relocate the monitor in some cases & a way to bi-pass it all together is also important. Most generators of this type are typically purchased for emergency situations. If the CO sensor has any type of fault or malfunction, it deems the generator worthless & unreliable.

One Happy Camper

I bought this 2 weeks ago and have not had to use it (Fortunately lol) so my review is based off of features, options, and ease of assembly and startup! I set this generator up by myself thinking I'd probably need help but the way the wheels fastened was wonderful! After I had the oil installed I connected my propane tank and it started right up using the remote on the 2nd try. Love it! I bought it for the tri-fuel capabilities so I could connect it to my son's and daughter's houses with natural gas and my house with propane. I did not want to use gasoline as the carburetor gums up when not used often. The controls are intuitive and laid out so convenient. This beats the Honda's I considered purchasing 100%. If I ever have to use it (and I hope not lol) I'll update my review but for now I'm one happy camper!

Have a 12000 running the house and needed agent for the shop. This 11500 runs the shop now. We’ve had 12 outages in the last 12 months.

Engine failure 2 months from purchase

I bougt it 1/8/25. Today is 3/8/24. The engine is locked up / ceased up. Already?

Great portable generator

Great generator right out of the box. Easy assembly and setup. Only issue is that nowhere in the owners manual does it tell you how much oil to put in it. Only says don't overfill. The bottle of oil it comes with is a little too much.
