Impressed by features / design / electric start

Bought this Generator a month ago. I was impressed by the features having had exposure as a Master Service Technician repairing most of the name brand portable generators over the years. Do not recall ever working on a Westinghouse. (Good sign!) Appears it will be most useful in handling any emergency needs.

I ordered it and it came well packaged and was easy to assemble. The canted funnel was a nice bonus to add the oil. Started right up. Hopefully will never need it. Using as a backup generator

Very happy with this purchase providing the ability to run the motor on 3 different sources. Natural gas rating is exactly what my transfer switch is capable of it’s perfect.

My parents bought a Westinghouse 6500, and had to use it last year after a hurricane. They used it for 1 week and was easy for them to operate as they are in their 80’s. I used have a Troy built, but decided to upgrade to a Westinghouse that had a self start and could operate everything in my house. We are going to have an electrician run the line so it can be hooked to the house for when we need it. Have already started it and runs a lot quieter than my old one. My sister and her husband have also purchased a Westinghouse when they experienced the ease of operation.

My 12,000-watt generator died during Hurricane Milton. Now it is hurricane season again in Florida. I was looking online and found this 14,500-watt beauty. Tri-fuel, battery quick-connect, trickle charger with a charging port on the control panel. Low oil cut-off, CO minder, electric start with remote keyless entry, digital display, and extended run time.
I would recommend this to a friend!
