I was expecting the entire otter box with the waterproof plug in part for the lightning port. Did not come that way. Probably my fault, but putting it out there so no one else makes the same mistake.

I actually bought this in both the blue and pink colors, and I'm so happy with both! The iPhone 12 mini is the perfect size phone for me and this case makes it feel great in hand. The sides provide just the right amount of grip and I love the color accents. Magsafe works like magic with the charger in my car. Might be my favorite Otterbox case so far - and I've had way too many to count over the years!

Let me first say I have an old hand injury that makes my dexterity poor, and phone drops are frequent. I bought the Aneu model as the Otterbox representative assured me it had grippy edges. I was changing from Apple's silicone case which I loved for it's secure grip, but I didn't love for it's less-protective features. With the Aneu, I find a slick rubber edge along the sides of the case combined with a glossy slick back; the edges, though perhaps 20% less slick than the material on the back, in no way provide me with the same grip sensation or ability as Apple's silicone case. The Aneu case is hard for me to grasp and hold securely. Though Anue's protective features are far superior to Apple's silicone case and on par with the Otterbox brand, the grip is just not there for me. A minor complaint is that the side buttons do not click or even give when pressed. They work, but my mind searches for confirmation, equating to harder pressing effort. Sadly, the expensive search for the right case continues...

This case would be perfect if the buttons were not so bad. I really like the textured plastic back, and rubber sides. However, the buttons are extremely stiff and require an inordinate amount of force to press. I have moved on and got a different case for this reason alone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was so loyal to kate spade iphone cases after dropping my i6 in the bath on 2! separate occasions AND IT STILL WORKED!! but the most recent one for my i12 mini was worthless. It did nothing to physically protect my phone.
So I turned to old faithful OtterBox. So glad I did. This pink case has 3 different shades of pink (back cover, side panels, and buttons) which I adore too. It's time to convert. I doubt I'll look back.

This is my favourite Otterbox case to date. It is not too bulky, feels great in the hand. The sides have good grip and the back has a harder texture but didn’t feel slippery in my hands. And you still get the great Otterbox protection that you would expect.
