Rugged and tough!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this cooler for around 7 years. One of the staples in our camping trips to the South West. Not the best at keeping food cold but it's strong and secure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were camping and wanted a cooler for picnics. We bought the turquoise and placed ice in it the first night. During the week long trip, that ice lasted about 3.5 days. The cold water would have kept stuff cold for a while longer, too.

Gave this to our daughter for Christmas so not sure yet how well it keeps things cold or how long ice last, but love the look and updates that have been done since I bought mine 30 plus years ago.

Good retro cooler to use in antique boat...

Would give it 5 stars if it had a bottle opener, like some other models...doesn't even have an option to easily install one aftermarket.

The coleman cooler is iconic! I would have given 5 stars but disappointed that the latch is plastic and the the hinge for the water release is flimsy and does not stay up. I paid alot of money for this cooler. I wish they would have stuck to the original design.
