Works great and looks great! I love the vintage look it has and it keeps things cool for a lot more than a standard cooler. The latch would be better if it wasn’t plastic.

My parents have had this cooler since I was a young kid and it a bit rusty around the edges, concider ing it's over 30 years old and it still works perfectly I would say it's a stellar product.

Wish it was all metal

We got the steel belted cooler because we like the look of a vintage Coleman cooler. While the majority of this cooler is plastic, it does hold cold temperatures well. We replaced the latch after a year of hard use and it still holds temps well. Overall, I would recommend.

Not the same as older models

Back in the 70s and 80s this cooler was the best. So when I saw what looked like the same version I bought it expecting it to be great. It's ok but not great. On a trip to S Carolina I had to change out the ice daily. I still use it for drinks but I chose another brand for keeping food cold on road trips.

Cheaply made!

I was excited when we found this cooler! But that didn’t last long when the latch kept coming apart when we locked it! Or when we arrived at our vacation to find our luggage soaked where it leaks! Tip put your ice in Ziplock bags to contain water! Sad that they charged the price they do for such poor quality!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
