Not the same as older models

Back in the 70s and 80s this cooler was the best. So when I saw what looked like the same version I bought it expecting it to be great. It's ok but not great. On a trip to S Carolina I had to change out the ice daily. I still use it for drinks but I chose another brand for keeping food cold on road trips.

Great Retro-Look

I always get compliments on this cooler for its retro look. But more importantly, it does its job well, and due to being steel-belted is sturdy to sit on. It is my go to cooler to take on road trips, as it fits nicely in the back seat of my RAV4 for access to cold snacks and drinks. It doesn't keep ice for as long as an Rtic or Yeti, but will more than do the job for a beach day or weekend camping trip.

Love these coolers we have a very old one and a new one. They do hold ice for 4 days great for traveling. Wish they would make this one without the bottle opener in silver again. I need one without s bottle opener due to space.
I would recommend this to a friend!
