Latch fell apart within a dozen uses

I purchased this because I wanted sturdy hinges and latch. I use only for Lake pLowell trips 3-4 times a year so maybe 10 uses and the latch catch in the cover has come out and now lost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Leaking after 6 months

After six months of owning the cooler it started leaking from the bottom. Seems like the seal between the bottom section and body has split and water leaks out of it. Tried taking it back to the store but they wouldn't replace it. Had to throw it away, what a waste.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Overall good - but should be more durable

Really like the vintage look of it and thats why I picked it over a Yeti or some other newer brands. Holds ice really well and I use it to rest my BBQ in. Big problem is the durability of some aspects. The latch itself is made of metal and no problem there but the part of the latch on the top of the cooler is a cheap plastic!? My cooler is a little over two years old with normal use and the top no longer stays closed. Disappointed it didn't last longer.

TBH - I was nervous to order the cooler due to all of the negative reviews about the latch. After careful consideration and checking other brands, I decided to just give this cooler a shot. I'll really only be using it for backyard bbq's and the like...won't be super hard on it and probably will hardly ever actually lock the thing. Knowing the Coleman brand and that the MUCH less expensive coolers keep my drinks cold throughout a party, I'm sure this will be juuuuuust fine.
I love the vintage styling...when you spend time on your garden, hanging edison bulb strings lights, keeping the patio clean, choosing nice patio furniture - why mess it up with an eyesore of a cooler that EVERYONE will be using when you have company? Maybe if you're having a rager of Natty Ice, you can get by with a cheaper cooler, but if you're doing a craft beer and infused sparkling water, toss 'em in a nice cooler like this one!

Does not keep ice more than 2days

Currently on a cross country road trip in 95 plus heat and have to buy ice every other day to keep my food and drinks cold. Very dissatisfied
