I bought this blender two days ago. I tried out the blender with 8 ounces of water and a full container of frozen fruit. Strawberries bananas blueberries. First I push the button. Nothing happened. This was on a full charge. I shook the container. Nothing happened again. Now I removed the container from the base. I took a straw and tried to move around some of the pieces of fruit at the bottom. I started the blender once again now it started to work. But it still did not pull down the rest of the fruit. I had to shake this container and blender and move it in different directions to try to get it to blend everything. Extremely difficult. I did add more water and repeated the process several times this did work. But I wanted to add my protein powder next, I tried to do that when I pushed the button again. I received three orange lights which indicates overheating. If this overheats, you have to wait an hour for it to cool down.So I had to try to shake everything else in the container and finish because I did not want everything that I mixed to go to waste. I will try this one more time with less ingredients and I will see what happens. Maybe the blade on this unit are just not sharp enough and the initial torque on this machine needs to be increased.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good power for a portable blender

I bought it a few weeks ago. And it’s perfect for me. Allows me to bring smoothies on the go. Blends very very well! Haven’t used the crush ice option but I’m looking forward to making iced drink with it! So far I love it and have no issues with it. Loved that it’s also able to be removed from the base and carried around that way. Would for sure buy it for friends & family.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Started out good but 1 month later it won't even blend frozen fruit without shutting off mid-way and the purple light flashes shake it up it goes for a minute and then same thing. If you are lucky you can get a chunky smoothie before it goes into overheated mode and then hang it up till tomorrow because it takes hours before it resets itself and you can use it. I liked ninja products but this has changed my opinion as this product should've never made it past testing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This blender is FANTASTIC. My husband received this as a replacement for another blender and it is amazing. The battery power and life are both beyond our expectations. He loves it. He uses it everyday. And, the fact that it detaches from the blade to become so light is great!
