Bigger, better product compared to cheaper version

I purchased a new ninja because my old one of only 4 months old failed me. I guess it is a mixed review in that my first one had problems. I stayed with Ninja and upgrade to a bigger, better model. So far so good. I like the features, I like the single cup option and the bowl option.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This far exceeds my expectations. I was able to make a full sized loaf of bread in the processor bowl with the dough hook. But it - you will not be disappointed!!!!

Plastic Shreds in single serve cup

Do not buy this system. I bought to puree food for my baby and loved the idea of saving space by having one base for multiple uses. I used both single serve cup and pitcher frequently. Both started having a horrible moaning sound. I used the single serve cup almost exclusively for my baby for several months starting at 4 months. In trying to trouble shoot I ran it with just water and was mortified to find the water turned black. I looked closer to find little plastic shreds throughout the water and plastic clumps at the base of the blade. The smell was a nauseating burned plastic and oil smell. I did my research looking at various blender options and thought I was doing what was best for my baby by making the baby food at home. I am sick to my stomach knowing I was feeding my baby bits of plastic and who knows what else. Please don't buy this. I pray my baby doesn't have long turn health consequences because of Ninja's faulty product. I bought a Ninja because I thought I was buying a quality product. I will never purchase a Ninja product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This blender is fantastic. I bought it because it could do so many things. I make smoothies all the time, pizza dough. Its loud but a good trade off IMO because it actually works. The blend sense is fantastic. So far that's the only setting I have used. Time will tell if it lasts. If it does you can't go wrong.
