Great phone for the value
on May 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this phone for both work and personal use for the past few years, and honestly, it’s been extremely reliable. I really haven’t run into any major issues with it. The only thing I’d say could be improved is the camera zoom quality, but even that is still pretty solid overall.
One thing I’ve really appreciated is not having to constantly deal with storage problems like I did with previous phones. I’ve thought about upgrading to the S24, but it’s hard to justify spending that much when this phone still does everything I need it to do without any problems.

Hi Lilbaddie,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your Galaxy A36 5G. We appreciate hearing about your experience with the device in everyday use.
Regarding charging your phone, you have the option to use fast charging. Most Galaxy phones and tablets support fast charging technology found in Samsung chargers, and many also support fast wireless charging for when you need your device to be ready quickly. When you plug your device into a Samsung Fast Charger, the Fast Cable Charging feature will be enabled automatically. This feature is usually on by default, but you can also turn it on manually.
Super Fast Charging is available only on select devices, and you'll need to use a 25W or 45W Samsung-approved adapter. To enable a charging feature, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to Settings and tap on Battery.
2. Tap on Charging settings.
3. Switch on Fast Charging or Fast Wireless Charging. Only the charging speeds supported by your device will be displayed; your device will determine the fastest available option based on the charger connected and the battery status.
To start Fast Charging or Super Fast Charging, connect the USB cable to your phone or tablet, then plug the USB power adapter into a power outlet. For Fast Wireless Charging, simply place your device on a supported wireless charger. Your device will briefly indicate that it has started charging, along with the charging speed and the estimated time to reach a full charge. After a moment, it will show that it is charging and indicate the time remaining until fully charged.
Once the battery is fully charged, you can disconnect the charger from both the device and the power outlet.
For more information on fast charging, please refer to the link provided below. Additionally, we are eager to offer insights on how to set up your camera settings for capturing the best shots. Your feedback on charging, camera experience, and daily functionality is invaluable to us. Thank you for choosing Samsung!

Hey there Jusm2,
Thank you for sharing your feedback on your Galaxy A36 5G. Every day multitasking is a significant part of how people use their phones. The best way to use two apps simultaneously on your Galaxy A36 5G is by utilizing the Multi Window function. This feature allows you to work with two apps at once without constantly switching back and forth, letting you alternate between them, adjust their display sizes, and copy information from one app to another. Here’s how to use it:
1. From the right side of the screen, swipe left to open the Multi Window tray.
2. Tap the grid or the three horizontal lines to view all your current apps.
- To open an app in split screen view on Z Fold devices, drag and drop it to the left, right, top, or bottom of the screen. You can do the same for additional apps if desired. To open an app in pop-up view, simply drag it to the center of the screen.
- For Z Fold front screens, Z Flip devices, and non-foldable devices, drag and drop the app to the top or bottom of the screen to enter split screen view. Again, drag another app in the same manner. For pop-up view, drag the app to the center.
3. Alternatively, tap Recents, select an app's icon, and then choose either "Open in split screen view" or "Open in pop-up view."
4. In pop-up view, you can rearrange your opened apps by moving the windows as you prefer. If you need a larger view for a specific app, tap the expand icon at the top to enlarge the window.
5. In split screen view, use the dividers between the apps to adjust their sizes.
6. To create an app pair in split screen view, tap the dotted divider between the apps and then tap the app pair icon (which looks like a star). After that, select your desired location for the app pair.
7. To close an app in split screen or pop-up view, tap the blue divider at the top of the app's screen, and then tap the X icon.
8. On foldable devices, your apps will remain active when you switch to Flex mode. You can keep the phone propped open on a desk or in your hand to continue using split screen or pop-up view.
This is one of the best ways to use multiple apps at the same time on your Galaxy A36 5G device. For more details, please refer to the link provided below. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and thank you for choosing Samsung as your go-to brand.

A36 review
on May 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not bad phone except for the fact I have to restart it at least weekly, sometimes more. Which is quite annoying and time consuming. If had to do it over, I'd return to the S series. Not sure what the Galaxy AI has to do with it.

Hello Cherokee,
Thank you for taking the time to share your review of the Galaxy A36 5G. We appreciate hearing your thoughts on its performance.
Your devices can sometimes slow down as internal storage fills up or as cache accumulates after system updates. To enhance your device's performance, consider enabling RAM Plus. To do this, go to Settings > Device Care > Memory > RAM Plus. Set it to the highest available option to provide your device with virtual memory, which will improve multitasking capabilities.
Additionally, clearing the app's cache or data can help resolve any concerns. This action will delete any problematic files or bugs associated with the app. You can also utilize your phone or tablet’s Device Care features to limit background apps, which can help extend battery life.
If you're experiencing camera lag, try switching to Pro Mode. For better handling of moving subjects or low light conditions, open the Camera app, go to 'More,' and select 'Pro Mode.'
We have more information available to help you keep your device performing optimally, as well as an article on capturing the best moments with your Galaxy A36 5G. These resources are linked below. Feedback like yours is invaluable in shaping the Galaxy experience, so thank you for being a part of the Samsung community!
