[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The phone has the basic necessities. Calls, texting, and even a decent front camera. It can surf the web well, and social media use is decent. It even has its Galaxy AI that also functions like any other. The downside to all this is the processing power. You constantly need to make sure you clear enough space to keep it running smoothly because it can barely take even the smallest tasks at times. If your only need is calling, texting, the occasional Google search, and casual social media use then this is fine but any more than that, literally anything more than that- you might as well get a flagship phone or something better than this at least.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always bought Samsung Galaxy devices since purchasing my 1st one Galaxy a22. From there made it a point to never EVER buy any other brand than Samsung Galaxy. Along the past 5 years, I've only ever purchased/used a-Series Samsung Galaxy phones, except once. After the a22 Galaxy, I purchased a used Samsung Galaxy s8 and it was also a very good phone. I used that for a couple months and realized I needed a phone with more space for apps and photos. So I bought, what I believe is the best phone for what I needed it for. I stream movies and tv series. Listen to music. I have a very large amount of photos as well as assorted files and documents that are extremely EXTREMELY important. It's great having everything of necessity at my finger tips. The Samsung Galaxy a35. I had it for a year and a half and it never cracked, the charger port never got lose. The volume is super loud. I can play games and I have an insane amount of apps that I actually use. I just got the Samsung Galaxy a36. Which is supposed to be better than the a35. I read that they will support the a36 for 5 years when they do software updates etc. So far so good. I have never had a complaint about any of the Samsung Galaxy phones I've purchased. I even have a new Samsung led 2026 model M70H. Get yourself a Samsung Galaxy, I guarantee you won't regret the decision.

Hey Willowsdad, Thank you for taking the time to review your Galaxy A36 5G. Everyday performance greatly influences the overall phone experience, and we appreciate your feedback. If your Galaxy phone or tablet freezes or crashes, it can be quite frustrating. Fortunately, this issue can often be resolved without needing to send your device in for service. Simple actions like rebooting your device and updating the software can help prevent future freezes and crashes. Ensure that your device has enough available space. It’s also important that your phone or tablet is connected to the internet and charged to at least 50% before installing any software updates. Note that some carriers require a Wi-Fi connection for updates and will not permit you to use mobile data. If you encounter an error during a software update and your device keeps restarting, you can look for guidance on how to escape a boot loop. Additionally, if your phone or tablet is low on storage, you can optimize it using the Device Care feature. You may also back up extra files using Smart Switch or your Samsung or Google account. For more information, please refer to the article linked below. We value your feedback and thank you for being a Samsung customer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ill be honest I finally found a inexpensive Samsung that looks just like the high end ones. Fast processor, slim, lightweight. I can only say the negative is lack of memory card slot but still holds plenty of space. The screen has a really crisp and vivid screen which is nice size. This phone is really awesome. And I definitely use Galaxy AI. I can tell it anything and it's performance is top notch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it for gaming and social and texting calling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] AI the only time I've really come across. It is when it accidentally comes on. As I'm a little bit afraid to use AI.\n And eventually I will get there, but a lot of features that I am really happy with is the calendar, how I am able to have 2 different schedules on one calendar and using color codes For each person making appointments apps, loading quick onto the phone is a nice treasure for me.\n Keep up the good work. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had a Samsung Android cell phone for a long time. I previously had the S8. I always want to stay with the same brand because it is easier to learn how to use. I loved the S8 model but it was time to change and upgrade. I chose the A36 because it was cheaper and I really didn't need the extra functions of the S series. I also was recommended this model by a friend. So far, I have been very pleased with the A36 and hope to use it for a long time.
