Samsung A series phone turned was right for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose a Samsung A series phone because of the promised 6 years of software updates, and their great reputation as a hardware manufacturer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy with my phone the 1st 3 weeks of having it. Then experienced the same issues I was having with my other Samsung phone. That was 2 years ago. I chose to keep the phone because my husband purchased it as a birthday gift. I will keep purchasing Samsung phones in hopes that I will find one that works for me. After 15 years, I'm disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung A17 as an upgrade. I did have issues downloading from my previous phone. I frequently get a message notifying me my phone is running slow and I have to restart it. My battery life is a lot longer so that is a plus.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im glad I chose this phone because unlike the competitors the galaxy a 17 is very easy to use and has alot of useful features such as tap to pay and other useful features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the Samsung A17 5 G because my previous A5 purchase was exactly what I was searching for in 2017. Unfortunately, the A17 5G purchased less than a month ago has been a non-starter. The lagging and constant UI errors commenced at the get go. At this rate I'm surprised the A17 5G is still on the market. Not very happy...

Hola Zxareal,
Thank you for reviewing the Galaxy A17 5G. This device offers 5G connectivity, a spacious display, and plenty of entertainment options for streaming, apps, and gaming. We appreciate your feedback about freezing, app performance, and connectivity issues when using multiple functions.
If you experience screen freezes when exiting apps, the phone may be aggressively throttling the home screen launcher to save battery. To adjust this setting, go to Settings > Apps > One UI Home > Battery and change the setting from "Optimized" to "Unrestricted."
If YouTube keeps logging you out, the issue might be a corrupted cache. To fix this, go to Settings > Apps > YouTube > Storage, then tap on "Clear Cache" and "Clear Data." Please note that clearing data will log you out, so you will need to sign back into your Google account.
Additionally, the phone uses your slower internal storage as extra "virtual memory," which can cause the interface to stutter and freeze. To disable this feature, go to Settings > Battery and device care > Memory > RAM Plus and turn it off.
Smooth navigation is essential for a great Galaxy experience, and your comments help Samsung identify areas for improvement. Thank you for sharing your experience with the Samsung Galaxy community.
