I purchased this unit a few months ago. I find it very user friendly as well as easy to install. The features are easy to navigate through. The clarity on the sonars and imaging is very good. The only disappointment is that if Garmin went as far as putting GPS Seaton the unit then why not add mapping…. This would make this a perfect low cost unit for the average weekend fisherman/woman. I have removed this unit after 2 trips out and replaced it with the UHD Echo Map.

A new beginning

Well, since the install, the weather has not been kind to us. So, haven’t had the opportunity to us it. However, this is a great companion to my 93SV mounted in the console. I have not connected the data cables together and not sure if I will, my type of fishing, a few times a week don’t need it. Plus with Active Captain if I need to share I’ll go that route.
