Replacement parts unavailable
on December 5, 2025

This product worked well, a bit noisy during the heating cycle, but not overly loud.
The reason for the poor review is that the product developed a leak where the upper and lower half of the tank join. A simple gasket failure.
The company does not sell replacement gaskets.
The service center informed me I needed to buy a new tank.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worked great, until it didn’t
on November 17, 2025
Posted by: Homeowner2025
My instant hot water dispenser was installed when we remodeled our kitchen. We had one previously, so we knew we wanted it again. This one lasted 10 years, and now no longer heats. No leaks like the previous one that failed. I guess 10 years is pretty good. Ordering another, hope it last another 10 years.

NOT A SIMPLE REPLACEMENT WHEN YOUR OLD ONE DIES
on May 28, 2025

Copper line replaced with plastic so its not a simple install if you are replacing. You have to find, buy and replace the shut off valve you previously installed with your old hot water dispenser. Garbage!

Dear Customer, We apologize for your recent experience with the installation of your new hot water dispenser. We understand how frustrating this can be. Although we still offer dispensers with copper lines, this particular model is designed with silicone and plastic tubing to be compatible with reverse osmosis systems. We are sorry to learn that you needed to replace parts during the installation process. If you require any assistance with your new hot water dispenser, please feel free to contact us directly at https://support.insinkerator.com/app/ask. Thank you for choosing InSinkErator again.

Replaced expensive copper tubing with plastic
on November 14, 2024
Posted by: Unhappy05
Replacing an old Insinkerator that died with this one. Old one was quality and had three copper tubes for connecting. They got cheap and replaced the copper with plastic. Not a problem until we tried to connect the water inlet tube to the existing copper connection. Won't fit unless we buy a "ferrule and a T fitting" which is not supplied and they do not sell one. When we called the first guy said just to connect it with the existing compression fitting, which we pointed out won't work because it will crush the plastic hose. Then got put on hold for 20 minutes before we hung up. We will see if we can get what we need to make it work at a plumbing supply store. Insinkerator tried to tell us they replace the copper with plastic to make water taste better. We say BS, they replaced it because copper is too expensive.

Great for my tea and cooking!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a builder, so I get requests for and regularly install the InSinkErator instant hot water dispenser in some of my projects. I just have my granite or countertop sub drill an extra hole for it, and it's super easy to install. The water is really hot and I love using it for an afternoon tea or even instant coffee.
Pros: easy to install and use
I would recommend this to a friend!

Never again do you need to wait for your water to heat up or use extra products. Easy to use and very simple to install, no special skills needed.
