Looks good and functional

I just had it installed 3 days ago so it is not really meaningful, complete review.
Longevity of a product is one of the most important factors I consider so I will not focus on this aspect.
I must say I like induction stove so much that I take a chance to buy another one even though my last one, from a very reputable manufacturer, which is not Thor Kitchen, only lasted a little over 6 years. The Radiant cooktop before it lasted about 20 years.
I bought a Thor's cooktop because it is induction, reasonable priced, and from a well-known manufacturer. I hope this one meets my expectation.
The main reason I write this review is to offer some thoughts on the design. If I am a designer, I would have separate power and control for each burner. Having separate power and control is more intuitive and simpler to use to me. For example, if I want to use a burner, I press power on a specific burner then up and down for temperature. With the shared power button design, I must press power, select a burner, select the temperature, which is one extra step. When you want to change temperature on a burner, you select burner and change within a few seconds or you must repeat the procedure once the display stops flashing. I wonder if the shared power does not come up, can I use any burners? probably not. With separate power button, I can ignore the one that breaks.
My preference probably would cost more to implement so Thor decides to go with the current design.

We just moved into our home. We wanted to remodel our kitchen and upgrade the radiant electric cooktop with an induction cooktop. I was familiar with the Thor brand from my experience in restaurants. I was surprised to find the perfect cooktop at a fantastic price. I love how quickly I can boil water and how precisely i can control the temperature. It is almost like cooking with gas. I look forward to getting to know my cooktop better and learning everything it can do to make my cooking even better.
I would recommend this to a friend!
