Retrofit this into our countertop, which had a hole that measured too big for it. I added a steel ring around the outside dropped right in hooked it up easy to use. Looks nice too..

We were in the middle of a house remodel, including redoing the cabinets and backsplash in the kitchen. I am the cook of the house and I had been using a regular electric cooktop that had "hot-spot" issues on the various burners. I had heard the induction cooktops were fantastic and so I decided to get an Induction cooktop to replace it. A friend and previous co-worker at our favorite big-box store recommended THOR. We purchased it that night. When it arrived the THOR Induction Cooktop was extremely easy to install to replace my 6 year old regular electric cooktop. The instructions were absolutely clear and concise. The removal of the old cooktop and installation of the THOR from start to finish was less than 2 hours.
I tested the THOR by filling an 8 inch pot with about 2 inches of water, placed it on the largest element, turned it on to Power Boil level and within 90 seconds the water was in full boil. I repeated the test on the other 3 elements and had the same impressive result!
My NEW THOR Induction cooktop FULLY satisfied and exceeded my expectations.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am happy with how fast the burners heat up although I will have to say that you do need to clean it once a week, stove top cleaner because for some reason, the larger burners get water spots or some such.
I would recommend this to a friend!
