[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Today I received my brand new cooktop . And immediately I knew that the quality of this stove was going to be exceptional before even opening the package . The stove was packed in two boxes with extra extra foam . This is so that the stove doesn’t get damaged in the delivery process. After it was installed and I got to use it . I was simply amazed.
Prior to buying the Thor stovetop I had purchased a Frigidaire induction stovetop to replace my old Frigidaire cooktop that my daughter accidentally broke .
But the experience in getting a new Frigidaire stovetop was exhausting. I got sent one stovetop that was uneven . So I got it replaced only to receive a stovetop where one of the burners only worked halfway .
I will no longer use Frigidaire anymore .
But I’m okay with that because I found an amazing THOR induction cooktop.i can only imagine what it must be to have the high end products from THOR . But today I really do feel like I’m cooking like a God .

Great 36 Inch Induction Cooktop

Beautiful surface, easy to clean. Cools off very quickly when shut down. Induction is amazingly quick, which will save us money over our 25 year old electric cooktop! Very satisfied customer.

Wow, what a difference!!

Why did I switch?: I had an electric cooktop. You know, the one with the coil burners. My pots and pans all set at an angle no matter what I did. It took 2 to 3 minutes for the skillet to warm up to temp. Food cooked quicker on the high side as heat rises. And this applied to all 4 burners.
SO, you can imagine my delight when I set a pot of water to boil and it was done in the time it would have taken my old cooktop to hear up. I made eggs and they cooked evenly across the skillet. Boiled eggs using the timer to turn the burner off and it worked as expected.
I'm a believer.

so far I'm amazed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We changed from gas to induction as part of a kitchen remodel, after watching a special on PBS about restaurants changing from gas to induction. Several chefs were amazed at how closely the induction temperature control resembles that of natural gas. We are on week three of using this cooktop and absolutely love it. The first time I used it, I boiled rice over onto the cooktop and though...well theres the first stain that isnt going to come off...but because the burner stays cool, the rice did not burn to the top of the element like regular electric. I have been frying, sauteeing, boiling, etc and this unit is super easy to clean. Also the tempaerature settings are predictable and constant (I havent seen any fluctuations, say when set on 6 to brown chicken tenders and so far, not hot or cold spots). The only thing is the magnet noises take a bit of getting used to, but once you turn on the exhaust fan, you cant really hear them anyway.
I would recommend this to a friend!
