"FERN" 1st Proper Test... I'd say here in N.E - N.J probably a good 12" to maybe 18" in drifts. Snow was powdery Hit it with the blower and it threw it out Over 40' That's the length of the house! Fortunately, no one was out on street. It Is Powerful / not quiet. 2nd day going at The Wall the plows made. Now it's piled 24" + and ice encrusted; Took it in smaller slices; had to adjust the chute to not blow it into or across the street (powerful) With ice chopper lowered the wall and it picked up what I was putting down. Made the worst I've seen in a while - Quite manageable!! Getting used to cord wrangling is essential, but way easier than dealing with the old Gas snowblower.
Had a hard time with the snow Sleet mi mix. Heavier than I thought to move. Don’t know if the joints will hold.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the 20" version in early 2025 and I really like it for the job. Far better than a Gas or Battery Blower. But, I did not tighten my chute and hit a landscaping brick. The chute vibrated loose and now I need to replace it. Unfortunately, it does not appear I can even buy a replacement. Other than this shortcoming, I recommend this unit.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband not knowing if we would get any more snow, thank goodness I did because we had a snowstorm of 11 in and this snow shovel saved our family, our neighbor, my mother
