This shovel is great for doing porch, steps and small driveways. Would recommend to seniors as it is easy to use

I bought this following an 8 inch snowfall. It was very easy to set up and operate. This machine moved the snow nicely. Unfortunately, I did not have it immediately after the snowfall so I had to deal with some icy patches and that required a bit of effort. Two days later, another 3 inches and this time on fresh snow it was smooth sailing. Just like mowing a lawn!

Inexpensive great solution to removing snow!!

We got nailed with the deepest snowfall I've seen in 15 years of living in Ohio. After shoveling a driveway of nearly a foot of snow, ai decided to shop for snow blowers.
At 55 years old, I shouldn't be shoveling much but I don't like spending money on products I'll barely use. I saw all of these snow blowers costing ridiculous prices and just couldn't justify it. Then I came across the Westinghouse 22" corded. I've never owned a snow blower and went with corded to not have to deal with gasoline or batteries.
The machine was SUPER EASY to put together. I didnt even need to use tools. Was a piece of cake. I bought a 50 ' cord but am planning on getting a 100 ' soon for more ease of use. I bought a waterproof cord used for cold weather.
Plugged in the snow blower and was shooting snow in no time!!! I started in the middle of the driveway and shot snow to one side and then worked back and forth towards the driveway edges. I was amazed how good of a job it was doing with this second snowfall we got last night. Was probably about 6 inches or so.
One thing I have to mention is that the snow shoots out about 5 feet or so. I mention this because I was expecting these huge arcs of snow up to 20 feet but it isn't that far. I hae read that it depends on how wet the snow is and today was wet, heavy snow.
I highly recommend this for someone who doesn't want to shovel but doesn't want to spend a lot of money either. It took me no time at all to do my driveway that is probably about 20 to 25 feet long. I made sure the cord was our of the way, made a pass and watched the snow sail. Really simple solution! Thanks Westinghouse for making an easy, low priced solution for us. Like I said, I've never owned or operated a snow blower in my life. This thing is so easy to use!

Awful product. Within 5 minutes of using this, I already had a pin fall in the snow and I was unable to find it. Because that, the handle didn’t work and will be returning it ASAP. Don’t buy!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
