Love ASUS computers and this one (my 6th) is working just fine. It's light, has a long battery life, and good display, etc. The number pad/touchpad is taking a little getting used to, but like the additional number pad, which I use regularly and usually get keyboards with it on the right side.

Laptop shipped without keyboard backlighting

This PC does not seem to have backlit keyboard!!!!! How could you sell a laptop without this functionality? It is a very standard function and is not really an option anymore.... this feels like you are playing around with the product feature set and taking away features to differentiate between models. The way to do this is to ADD features to differentiate models. Not the other way around.

This product has been easy to adjust to. It has good graphics and connection points for wifi, and blue tooth. I can easily hook-up to my monitor via an HDMI port, something that is not always included on laptop models.
