The new 10-cup Culligan branded version of the Zerowater pitcher has same great filtration, and improved aesthetic, but needs larger capacity pitchers. 10 cup is MUCH smaller than previous Zerowater pitchers and requires much more effort to produce the same quantity of filtered water. 7 and 10 cup versions are great for those who want those sizes, but I believe there is a market for a larger capacity pitcher as well. Culligan, when you make one, let me know!!!

5- stage technology with one great taste

Low maintenance product details meaning the parts are super easy to detach, clean and inexpensive to replace when needed. I can’t believe all the things this filter checks for and gives me a peace of mind knowing it’s safe.

Great design & better water

The precise TDS meter reminds me when it’s time to change filters, which is convenient.
The five‑stage filtration, removing nearly all dissolved solids, PFAS, lead, and chlorine, delivers water that feels cleaner without any aftertaste.
Its slide‑top lid and no‑drip spout feel thoughtfully designed for daily use, and the capacity is ideal for fridge storage during the summer.
My sole reservation is that the cost of replacement filters is on the higher side. They’re effective, but can add up over time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so great to have filtered water without spending so much at the store constantly or without having to buy filters for the sink that look bulky. It’s simple you fill the pitcher up with water and set it in your fridge. The filter removes anything that is not needed in water giving you fresh water every time! This is a must have especially since we have entered the summer season. I would recommend you pick one up today!

Tastes like bottled water, but more eco friendly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok, this thing is heavy duty!! The filter is massive and does an amazing job filtering the water. It literally tastes like bottled water. We had another filter pitcher and we can 100% taste the difference. Even our morning coffee has been upgraded! It does take awhile to fill up and it doesn’t fit in my fridge very well. Depending on how long the filter lasts, I might be witching to Culligan for good!!

Good Design, Could Be Improved

We have a whole-house water softener, with one RO (reverse osmosis) faucet in the kitchen, and as a result I'm a long-time user of water pitcher filtration systems to have clean (and tasty) drinking water throughout the house. You can drink unfiltered softened water, but you might mistake it for brackish bayou water straight from the tap. Additionally, a softener does nothing to remove dissolved solids or chemical residue, hence a portable filtration solution.
I've used a variety from Pur, Brita, LifeStraw and ZeroWater, and I've found ZeroWater's ion-exchange filtration system to be the most practical and effective for daily use, now shared with Culligan. It does not remove bacteria like the LifeStraw, but does remove most TDS (total dissolved solids) throughout the life of the filter (all TDS when new, hence "Zero", but progressively less when it needs changing), and the multi-filtration system also removes odors and a host of proven unhealthy chemicals present in even "safe" public tap water. Culligan's system accomplishes this with their own ZeroWater filter, slightly different than ZeroWater's original.

So kudos to Culligan for using a great design. As far as the pitcher design, my review is a comparison of Culligan's 10-cup pitcher compared to ZeroWater's original design (side note - both companies are now under the Culligan umbrella). But significantly, you can still purchase the original ZeroWater pitchers from Walmart, Amazon and other outlets.
The Culligan design makes some substantial improvements over the original - the handle is more robust and easier to hold, the square configuration of the pitcher makes it easier to store in the refrigerator, the sliding top cap makes it easier to fill, the TDS meter now continuously monitors the filtered water so you know when to change the filter just by looking at the pitcher (when the meter reads 6 ppm TDS), the pouring spout is larger and pours quicker, it's easier to disassemble for cleaning, and overall the pitcher is more compact and attractive than the original. The new filter design does seem to filter as efficiently, and quicker, than the original.
There are some minor annoyances - the TDS meter doesn't appear to have any seals and is not completely waterproof like the original. You may discover this if you don't remove it before washing the pitcher, and find water in the battery compartment (although changing the batteries is easier in the new design). The filter slides in from the top with a bayonet lock, which is not an improvement over the original screw-on filter from the bottom and just (slightly) complicates changing filters, and even if not a negative certainly doesn't add anything. The top sliding cap also doesn't have a positive lock, so opens very easily. Good when filling up, bad if you accidentally flick it open on the counter. Leading to the most significant minus - the pitcher spout (and complete front of the pitcher) is open to the ambient air, not just unsealed but uncovered. The original ZeroWater pitcher has a small flap covering the spout - for good reason. Everything in the air, all the dust - and floating organisms in same: mites, bacteria, algae, mold, spores, and even larger gnats, flies, and mosquitoes - can fall directly into your pitcher and clean filtered water unhindered in the Culligan design. And every living thing in your house, in addition to you, wants water (well, maybe not spiders). Not so much a problem if stored in your refrigerator (although it will result in your water absorbing food odors in time, but cheese-scented water may be your thing). But more than a hypothetical problem on your bathroom or kitchen counter, particularly in warmer months. And warm, pure, uncontaminated water is an ideal place for things to grow. Things you don't want to drink. Those mosquitoes mentioned? There are 10 to 20 in your house right now in the Summer, depending on where you live, and the females love still, undisturbed water.
So perhaps there have been no reports of organic contamination of filtered water in Culligan pitchers to date (a quick rise in TDS would be indicative). New design, perhaps not a large user base in the short time on the market, but the fact is that the design permits the possibility. When it could have been mitigated with a simple flap on the spout, or even a stopper. Otherwise, a good start by Culligan, and a useable product. You should clean any drinking water container standing out at room temperature at least every 2 weeks anyway; with Culligan's pitcher you might want to consider weekly, which should minimize the effects of the open air design. Or just store it in your 'fridge. Recommended, with comments.
