Now my sourdough rises like it should!

This pitcher leaves the water as pure as an RO systems costing hundreds of dollars! It even has an attached testing meter to confirm purity. In our town in Texas, the water is treated by the Municipal Water group with three strong chemicals. As a baker I couldn’t use tap water when making Sourdough, because the tap water killed my Sourdough Starter yeast! . Not any more! I fill our Culligan 10 cup pitcher and use the pure water when making the starter, and mixing the dough. It is PERFECT. Thanks Culligan!

I almost solely use/drink water, also coffee. Drinking a lot of water and since I live in an old apt (over 100 years old), the pipes and water combined are in desperate need of filtering. I have been using another brand, and as far as the pitchers go, Culligan are so good compared to the other. Culligan pours so smoothly, even if poured with a large tilt of pitcher, it doesn't just rush out. I just love it.
The two issues I have are that when near empty, the stream while pouring, often shifts to one side or the other, no big deal but it is annoying to try and aim if pouring into a small opening. Last thing is more a suggestion... I found that toward the end of filter, when the level reaches 6 on meter, if you let the filter drain (leave pitcher empty) for a day or so, the filter will have (for me) several more days of use. If you are cheap like me (on low fixed income) this can save money over time for sure. I do wish I would have gotten the larger pitcher tho, I am not fond of the size, but that is on me, not the pitcher.

I have been using the 10 cup pitcher for almost three weeks with no problems. Original filter is still going strong, filtration rate is very reasonable. Each reservoir fill is almost half the pitcher and takes about fifteen minutes to filter into the pitcher. So far, so good.

It sends that only the super size have spickets unkind the original Zero water container. The Culligan are heavy & drop toward the last pouring. Take a lesson from Zero Water!.

Love the filter but the pitcher needs work

Great filter. Amazing even. Not much more to say on that.
The pitcher though, uggh. Two main problems for me are the odd angle for the spout to dispense the water. I routinely have to nearly have the pitcher rotated 90 degrees to get water out of it. I know the water is good, let me get to it. Secondly, and most annoying is the pitcher opening where you pour in the water to be filtered. The top slides forward, towards the pitcher dispenser. This is different as I'm used to ones that open like a flap. The problem this creates is that when I'm dispensing water, the opening slides down, from gravity, and opens. Is it materially an issue? Not really, but why is it there at all? The slide could go the other way and be much more secure.

Possible issue for some people.

It is so heavy I can’t pick it up. The filter is huge. I will say that the water is delicious but I can’t take it out of the refrigerator because if it’s weight.
