The lid lifts off as

The lid lifts off as a tissue is being pulled out. Pesky! Otherwise it’s well designed & made. Bumpers on the bottom so it doesn’t scratch the surface it’s sits on. Nice detail.

Looks great! These really made my desk look nicer, even though it's so simple. Did not read the description enough to know the lid sits atop the contents (not on top of the box) so was a little surprised when I set it up- the image of the empty box with the lid at the top is very misleading on the product page, the lid sits inside the walls of the box and is the height of the tissues inside. I put an entire box in rather than emptying tissue in to it, and it works as expected. The lid does move when I'm grabbing a tissue, which doesn't bother me personally, but mentioning it for others who may prefer a steadier lid.

Elegant clean look for small spaces

Really nice clean look. The case is the perfect size for boutique tissue boxes. I put the entire box of tissues inside the case. The case is surprisingly heavy which I like. It doesn't move around when I pull a tissue out. The wood lid with the white metal warms up the look. I have the white RIN trash can in same colors so I'm definitely a fan of all things Yamazaki RIN. I bought 3 tissue cases. Two extras will go in the very small guest bedroom and bath in our new home. The wood lid does lift slightly when I pull a tissue out but it drops right back in place. Doesn't bother me.

This gets a high score

This gets a high score for looks. But in practicality, the wood tissue cover is so light weight that when you try to pull tissues out, the lid comes off or raises up with every pull. The lid or top should be heavier.

I’d been looking for a tissue box with clean lines and beautiful but not made from plastic and this is by far the best one out there! It will be a permanent piece in my home. Thank you!!!

Well made and looks great on my desk. I have to hold down the top while grabbing a tissue this the four stars. The larger version of this you can grab a tissue with one hand.
