I clogged the unit the1st time I used it, probably my fault because I did not realize how small the holding tank was. I gave my old Animal model Dyson away and am sorry I did. This unit is not practical for a 2 dog household.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1 thing that really stands out for me since I have owned 7-8 stick vacs is the easy way to empty the canister that holds the dust-dirt-dog hair. some units are sticky when trying to remove the cannister, no problem with the Dyson

It cleans well, but I dislike having to hold the power lever the entire time I'm using the device. I also find it annoying to have to disassemble the power device in order to empty the dirt cup.

I also was unable to get out of the language menu...
I do see i need to vacuum more than once sometimes the same area... but its definitely picking stuff.
Want to make sure the mouth is free of hair...
