Won this as a prize, I haven’t used it yet, but it’s very light and portable. I have hope it’ll be quiet.

3 Speed neck fan

I have to be honest...the fan leaves me feeling lukewarm. The on/off switch has to be held down to turn it on or off and you use the same button to cycle thru the speeds. The button's location is sort of weird and high up on the neck, too. I have used other neck fan options that were "easier" to use (more intuitively placed and touch button rather than press and hold).
My hair did it in for me, though. I have long hair. There is no warning about long hair getting caught in the air intake, but mine did. The first time I turned it on, a little bit got caught and was pulled out. It was not a great first impression, hence the two-star rating. The only thing that might raise my opinion of it at this point is how it will perform during a Phoenix summer. It's not quite hot enough yet, but it will be soon!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
