it could have been so much cooler

the set is pretty disappointing. I would have been to pay more for a better set. first of all why the lack of characters ? it was the first thing my daughter noticed. the house should also have come with more features like secret doors or floor traps. overall, it seems this was a wasted opportunity. you can certainly do better

Not all the pieces came with this set. So upset when I got to bag 2.

Overrated mini-mansion

Bought for both Dtr & son but wasn’t an option on list. ; Looks decent but isn’t playable at all. Too small to play with/include in other Lego sets (which our dtr & son both have tons of). It’s sitting on our mantle looking insanely small for an October/H’ween deco (& we have a small-typical sized mantle). Lots of pieces but think overpriced considering size (know it’s mini) and lack of playability once complete. In addition since a mini, our kids can’t modify it like regular Lego sets to show some creativity once h’ween has passed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had a fun time building this mini version. However all the images for the photo frames are missing making the whole mansion incomplete.

Cute, but didn't care for the building process

I will admit that I bought this set for the parts because of the really good price. There was just a lot of repetitious aspects to the build which made it boring. The technique was interesting, I just didn't enjoy putting together so many micro pieces in the same way. I have had the same experience with other sets, but I also had more interest in the set, so maybe that ties into it a tad. Either way, love all the sand green parts and it's a cute replica of the Haunted Mansion.
