I’ve owned many different apple air pods and recently I was traveling and didn’t have my air pods and was stuck with a 6 hour layover in Charlotte. I was in the American lounge and needing some ear buds. I decided to try something new and spent lots on the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II. They took a bit getting used to and then after less that 4 weeks the left earbud sounds like a broken speaker. I would have expected for the price they would have lasted longer.

Bose sent me the Earbuds II when my first generation QC earbuds stopped working. Bose replaced the great "ear finn" in both the wired and first generation QC earbuds with an inferior "stability band" system that does not stay put. The least little movement of my head and the earbuds move enough to disconnect. I've experimented with different ear tips and stability bands but with no luck. The "Eartip Test" shows a "good seal," but the buds lose the seal and disconnect. Very disappointing.

Hello, We're sorry to hear that you're having concerns finding the best stability band fit of your headphones. You should take some time to experiment with different eartip and stability band sizes to arrive at a combination that suits you, providing a gentle seal and a comfortable, stable experience. Keep in mind that it’s common for left and right ears to vary slightly in shape, so sizes may not match from left to right. Also, eartip and stability band sizes may be mixed and matched (such as using a size small eartip with a #3 stability band). If you find that you need alternate sizes, extra small and extra-large eartips and stability bands are available through Bose Support.
after using them 3 or 4 times, I cannot get the earbuds to connect to my iphone. The earbuds say they are ready to connect, i turn on the music on my iphone and nothing happens. The has occurred repeatedly, I have tried to resets but the earbuds wont connect.

I love Bose. I own a few products from Bose but I also own similar products from other manufacturers. I love my Bose QuietComfort Earbud II and its my daily go to. Soundwise I like it better than my airpod pro. Designwise, I like the airpod pro better. If I could make some constructive criticisms, the open sound when you put on the earbuds is too weird and a little loud, the case feels a bit flimsy and cheap and its hard to pull out the airbuds from the case. Otherwise, if I have to choose between my airpods pro or my Bose earbuds II, I would choose Bose any day. No one can beat the noise cancelling, the design is better than the first one (which I owned), the sound is better. I like the simplicity of the app that goes with it.
These earbuds have great noise cancellation, but there are so many bugs that are still present, it makes it not worth it. It will randomly lose connection to my phone, for no reason. It will also sometime connect to my phone, but just not play any sound or anything. It sometimes automatically connects, but not all the times. Even the sound is buggy sometimes. It occasionally plays louder out of one earbud vs the other. I bought these the day they came out, and these bugs were acceptable for a new product. I am disappointed Bose has not addressed these bugs.
