My favorite ear buds

I have always known that Bose has a superior sound quality which all of their competitors try to beat, unsuccessfully, but I’ve never been in a position to have my own pair of Bose earbuds. I am thrilled at the opportunity to sample these and hear the sound quality for myself. My favorite feature is aware mode. I now feel completely safe going out late at night to walk my dog. I typically have a hard time with ear buds, as I can't keep them in my ears without them falling, especially if I bend my head forward, but that is not a problem with these. Once they are inserted in your ears, all that is necessary is to rotate the buds to adjust to your inner ear. There is even a function that allows you to test the quality of the noise cancelation function by reverberating sound in your ears so the ear buds adjust to the contours of your ears. There is also a function that, if you update to current software, the ear buds adjust to optimal performance by adjusting to your listening patterns. The technology in these ear buds are way beyond anything I have experienced before.

Great Active Noise Cancelling!

Bose has always been the top dog when it comes to active noise cancellation. (After all, there is a reason most airline pilots use Bose headsets.) When the original Bose QuietComfort earbuds came out a few years ago, I was really excited. Bose was late to the wireless earbud game, but when they were finally released, it met my expectations, and I use them all the time. However, there is no denying that they are bulky when compared to the competition.
Enter the Bose QuietComfort 2. I'm pleased to say that they are significantly smaller than the previous model, and they seem to fit somewhat better because of that. The charging case is smaller (a welcome improvement), and the EQ is decent. The ANC works as designed, and they are great for shutting out the outside world. Another improvement is the simplified controls. The previous model had a complex system where each earbud did something different, but in this model they do the same thing. Power users might miss the customization of the previous model, but I think most users will appreciate these changes.
Overall, a good pair of earbuds for the price. You cannot go wrong with Bose.

Not bad but no perfect

Starting from the point that for the cost and the brand I expect a perfect product, I am not 100% satisfied with the product. Starting with the things that I have had problems and / or do not work: The most important thing is the comfort, after an hour it already starts to hurt, and I am using the smaller insert, causing problems during the run by making it fall out of the ear. Case does not charge wirelessly. It has no multipoint bluethoot. The app keeps crashing and I can't manage the settings anymore. Aside from that, I really love buds. The noise cancellation is amazing, with the aware mode I can clearly hear the people around me and if a high pitched sound occurs, it automatically starts the noise cancellation. Yesterday I was listening to music and I turned on the vacuum cleaner, the buds automatically silenced the noise. The sound sector has nothing to tell, it is Bose and it lives up to expectations, perfect; deep bass and clear mids / highs. Except for comfort, I believe it is well designed for all day and all occasions use. Great design that sets them apart from the competition.

Bose QC Earbuds II Don't Dissapoint!

These are my first earbuds in a long time, I've been using Bose QC 35's which are great, but are bulky at times. After see that Bose came out with a second generation of the QC earbuds, I thought I'd give them a try. As you'd expect from Bose, the sound quality is top notch and the noise-cancelling is really outstanding for such small buds. I was very pleased with the comfort and fit, they never felt like they were going to fall out. Even if you jump or run around, they feel secure. That was one of my biggest issues in wear earbuds in the past, they always felt like they'd fall out.
I was a little disappoint in the lack of control information. I had to search on the Bose site to find a support page that explained all the touch gestures used with the earbuds. There's no guide or documentation included explain those touch controls. The new Bose Music app doesn't offer explanations either. Beyond that issue, the only other improvement I could think of would be wireless charging ability for the case and the ability to locate your buds with playing a sound.
Overall, these earbuds are great for everyday use, exercise, etc. They offer the Bose quality sound and noise-cancelling you can get in their larger headphones in a small very comfortable earbud.

Hello, We're glad to hear that you've been enjoying your headphones over these years and for giving our new QuietComfort Earbuds II a go.
These achieve high standards of audio performance at any volume setting. A combination of technologies makes this possible. A patented acoustic port design combined with premium, high-efficiency drivers ensures immersive sound and deep lows from a small acoustic package. Volume-optimized active EQ enhances clarity throughout the entire spectrum of sound for lifelike audio reproduction. A proper fit is critical to ensure the best audio performance and noise cancellation; an eartip with a loose or leaky seal can result in lower performance. You can also find our fit guide here: https://bose.life/3DhhIt2 as well as in the Bose Music app.
Sorry that you had some issues finding documentation on the available touch controls, you can find all available actions on our support website here: https://bose.life/3U8pYl6
As for wireless charging and GPS tracking. These features are unavailable, however if you require a charge, a quick 20-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of play time. If you lost an earbud or your charging case, you can reach out to your local Bose product support team for assistance, an agent will always be happy to help. It’s 2022!! Wireless charging is a thing!

Listen, if you’ve ever had any Bose product then you should know the bass and audio quality will be as precise as you can get with their products. The noise cancellation is amazing but I do wish I could do a hybrid of noise cancellation and aware mode. Kind of like a middle point between the two. With that being said, I listened to an immersive podcast and whew! That had me forgetting I was sitting in my room for a good minute. Now, here’s the thing…it is 2022! We have gone through a pandemic, 300 different phone versions of that look the same, other devices that have a touch screen and folds, and we have VR eyewear. Why, why, why has Bose not equipped this charging case with wireless charging?!? It’s already a huge case in comparison to a few other wireless earbuds on the market but the fact that I now have to get yet another USB-C block for the provided cable with these earbuds irks me. This is, or should be, standard across the community now. Imagine buying a phone today and it doesn’t have a gps or Bluetooth capabilities. Crazy, right?! All in all, the sound quality is great, the call quality seems to be ok for now but I do want to circle back to that later on with more use, the fit of the buds themselves stay in my ear without feeling like their going to slip out, and the design is very sleek. You can barely see them when I put them in. This case though…this case is too big for it not to have the ability to charge wirelessly. I do hate that these are Master/slave ear buds as well. You can’t use the left independently from the right. That’s a big disappointment for me.

Hello, Thanks for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We're glad to hear that you have been enjoying the audio quality and noise cancellation of your earbuds.
Are you aware that you can set presets of noise cancellation within the Bose Music app? Modes are groups of settings that you can create and quickly switch between depending on your situation. There are multiple Modes available to start. You can also create your own Modes to quickly recall the different settings that work best for you. To find out how to personalise this to your needs, follow our support link here: https://bose.life/3QD3UMz
We appreciate your comments regarding wireless charging, the QuietComfort Earbuds II charging case does not have wireless charging capability. If you are concerned about finding a wall adaptor this headset comes with a USB-C cable that allows the charging case to be charged from your PC or laptop. Please note that the PC or laptop must be on and awake in order to charge over USB, and charge time may increase. Earbuds must be placed in the case to charge them, a quick 20-minute charge provides up to 2 hours of play time.
We're happy that you're finding the earbuds comfortable, we do suggest users should take some time to experiment with different eartip and stability band sizes to arrive at a combination that suits them, providing a gentle seal and a comfortable, stable experience. Keep in mind that it’s common for left and right ears to vary slightly in shape, so sizes may not match from left to right. Also, eartip and stability band sizes may be mixed and matched (such as using a size small eartip with a large stability band).
Finally, regarding your comments on using the left earbud independently. You can now use the left or the right for music or phone calls, make sure you get the latest firmware update through the Bose Music app.

The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II are just amazing. They are light and fit tight in the ear feeling very secure while not being cumbersome. The noise cancelling is light and blocks out just enough ambient noise while listening to create a very immersive experience. Music is surprisingly crisp and clear with astonishing levels of bass. They are by far the best sounding earbuds I've ever tried. The smartphone app is clean and easy to navigate. All the settings are within a couple clicks. The charging case is about as small as it could be made and feels very sturdy. You will not be disappointed.
