You've heard of the pros of the Bose Quiet Comfortable 2; here is the negative. The eartip is a rubbery two piece unit desigened to work together to seal and secure the earbud in your ear. The problem is the desig of the outer rubbery ring is not the best. The ring slips around on the earbud and easily gets twisted out of place. Sometimes its hard to tell if it is corretly positioned or not. In addition, if the ring is out of position when the buds are placed in the case, the buds won't charge.
I ended up loosing one of the earbuds in the first month of ownership. These Bose earbuds are too expensive to have tis sort of problems.
If you only plan on using them while sitting at a desk, or laying in bed, they may be ok for those purposes, for any other type of outdoor activity, Id look to another brand.

Hello TJ,
The two part design is to ensure that you can get a fully customized secure fit. The Stability bands and earbuds both have indicator dots on them to ensure that they are aligned correctly. Our guide here https://bose.life/3uBOMXd shows how to ensure they are correctly aligned on the earbuds.
While it is unfortunate that you've lost one of your earbuds. We'd be happy to help you with replacing the lost earbud. Reach out to us https://bose.life/38DNELy and we can get you sorted.
Connection: The earbuds I received disconnect intermittently at random, inconsistent times. Every time I use them I have to reconnect them and sometimes even have to unpair them with my device and then reconnect in order for them to work.
Noise Cancellation: They do not block out surrounding noise. When I am on a call the person on the other line can hear everything going on around me.
Receiving the package: It was an entire process simply to receive my package and customer service has been less than satisfactory.
I was extremely excited about these headphones, have wanted BOSE headphones for years, and am unfortunately disappointed.

Coming from several gen iPods, these Bose simply outperform the Apple pods. Never considered switching because I always thought that other brands won’t work that well with my Apple products like the iPhone. I was wrong they work seamlessly with my iPhone 13 Pro. And have to say that I have never experienced noise cancellation like the Bose. And the music quality, well they are Bose. Super happy with my purchase and worth every penny
Must be honest, did not believe the story Bose was telling the louder the background noise gets the more than noise. cancellation increases , the best product in this category.
I brought Two week ago? I’m good with it but I have problems with the ring bands in the ears They don’t hold in an ears as well as the first Bose quiet comfort earbuds. and I did try the alternate large bands, extra large. every time I move my head up or down or sideways it falls out.

I recently upgraded from QC to QCii ear buds and and was excited the same quality sound I am used to from Bose. While there are some intermittent connection issues, for the most part they work pretty well, unfortunately the case design makes putting them in and out somewhat difficult. Most importantly, the case design has somehow removed the wireless charging capability found in earlier models. I was initially worried about the lack of ability to listen to the left earbud independently but have been reassured that that ability will be coming in a future firmware update… Overall I am not sure this is the step up I was anticipating and may be returning them

Hi,
Thank you for your post and feedback. As great as your QuietComfort® Earbuds II sound together, we know there are times when you want to use just one of your earbuds. You can now use either the left or right earbud for listening and calls with Independent Single-Bud Use. This new feature lets you seamlessly switch between your earbuds, and if one earbud runs out of battery life or disconnects from Bluetooth®, you can continue listening with the other earbud without interruption. To access Independent Single-Bud Use, make sure the software on your QuietComfort® Earbuds II is up to date.
