Improving on fantastic? That will be the new mission for the sound engineering team at Bose to top the quality of their QuietComfort Earbuds ll. This product is the most sophisticated piece of miniaturized audio technology I’ve ever encountered. The range and balance of sound is outstanding. From the crisp guitar solos I’ve loved for years, to the clarity of masterful jazz pianists, to the soothing and romantic themes of a great saxophone player, the dimensions of sound reproduction from these Earbuds are just amazing. Drums and bass sounds are equally impressive with deep and bold vibes in perfect balance. The ambient noise cancelling feature with high or low strength allows for either partial or complete immersion into the music. The touch control features allow me to review a great intro-theme, skip to the next track on my playlist, adjust volume smoothly or pause entirely for a phone call. I quickly adopted a delicate touch as the control function is very sensitive to touch and pressure or perhaps even warmth. The charging case maintains optimum battery levels and slips easily into pocket or purse. I don’t know how Bose engineering teams achieved this level of comfort and excellence, but then again they do have a reputation and I’ve been a big fan for decades. For me music appreciation is an adventure, and my ears have long known that the best journeys begin with Bose Audio. My thanks to all the great people who develop such wonderful products that enrich the lives of music lovers the world over.
The Bose QuiteCormfort 2 Earbuds are simply excellent. The improvement over last year's model for both noise cancelation and sound quality is amazing. There are 2 things I hope Bose will address going forward. 1. The magnetitic lid on the QuiteComfort 2 earbuds case is snot strong enough to keep it closed all the time. 2. Some type of a trade in program would be helpful. I now have the 2021 earbuds in the drawer.
Very good product for sound and noise canceling, unfortunately it doesn’t have any way to track the buds and doesn’t have MagSafe features

I bought these a few months ago. I have tried numerous in-earbuds. These are the only ones that stay in my ears, al the others fall out, including the Bose Earbuds 1. Have yet to have these fall out. Also, sound is great. I am an avid listener and know the sound I want. Should be able to listen to the music the way the producer created the sound. I hear things I haven't heard before. Very happy. Already recommend to friends.
I have owned the original QC Earbuds for about a year and have just upgraded to the QC Earbuds II last month. Overall, I wouldn't ever want to go back to anything less. Both have great sound quality. And the noise reduction - Wow! So, here are a few other pros and cons of the QCII's. PROS: • Phenomenal noise reduction. The "Focus" mode makes everything go away. • The "Aware" mode makes leaving the buds in your ears for in-person conversations possible with no effect on your hearing or the volume of your speech. • Great sound • Great fit & feel with the interchangeable Stability Bands and Eartips; have fallen asleep with them in, woke up with them still in my ears and had no discomfort. • Equalizer settings can be tailored to your listening preferences. • Easy to pair and the mobile app is very intuitive. • Battery life and charging time has been as advertised, so far. CONS: • My biggest complaint is that switching between two devices, like my laptop and phone, is cumbersome. The original QC earbuds allowed you to do that with a button on the charging case. This does not exist on the QCII's. You have to open the app or reconnect with your Bluetooth settings in your individual devices each time you want to switch. Bose should be thinking of being able to connect to at least two devices at once with a tap on the bud to switch between them. • Did a mobile call comparison between the QC and QCII’s in a somewhat noisy car ride. While I could hear clearly with both earbuds, the car noise was non-evident to me, the person I was speaking to indicated that the QCII’s had significantly more background noise than the original model, to the point where they indicated they wouldn’t entertain a lengthy call because of it. Verified this, switching back and forth several times. • Randomly drops connectivity. • The case design - Putting the earbuds back into the case is challenging for us fat-fingered people. Getting them out of the case is a lot worse. The case fits great in a pocket but doesn't stand by itself. Wireless charging of the case is not available on the QCII’s • One final complaint is getting into a vehicle and closing the door can sometimes be like a sonic boom in your ear while wearing the earbuds. This was quite uncomfortable and unexpected. • Lastly, the noise reduction is so good that my tinnitus sometimes becomes so evident that it is all that I hear 😊
The Sound Quality rating is only a 4 due to degraded quality on the receiving end of a call, not on the user end.
Bought them and set them up. They worked for the 20 minute Setup time. Went to use them the next day and left bud failed. Returned them. Wanted them replaced but no option. Couldn’t repurchase them at the sale price. Disappointed to say the least.
