One of the best wireless ANC earbuds on the market

I've had the Bose QC Earbuds II for a month now, so I've had some time to try out the different settings with the Bose app. The default sound is to boomy, the bass dominates the sound overall, but after adjusting the equalizer and selecting the Bass Reducer option the sound is closer to neutral with still plenty of bass, which sounds good to my ears. This is my first pair of wireless earbuds so I can't compare to other options on the market, but I can say the ANC works really well for me, but I really don't need the ANC I only use the earbuds in my home. I purchased the Bose QC earbuds II for the latest bluetooth 5.3 and the better than average sound quality in the wireless earbuds market. Their are two features missing that I hope Bose will address in future firmware updates this year. First one is you cannot completely disable the noise cancellation, but you can select between two standard modes and several custom modes. The second missing feature that really needs to be added is bluetooth multipoint, which would allow you to connect the bluetooth earbuds to two, or more, devices at once. Their not a perfect pair of earbuds, but with the few missing features that hopefully will be addressed with future firmware updates will make them that much better. As they are now, they are a great pair of wireless ANC earbuds overall. I would highly recommend the Bose QC II earbuds especially for someone who needs the best ANC in a pair of earbuds.

NC is great, sound quality and mic is great as well. But with this price, I am hoping that I can use the earbuds independently and is capable of wireless charging but it is not. I end up purchasing another earphone just to last for 1 whole day.

Hey,
As great as your QuietComfort® Earbuds II sound together, we know there are times when you want to use just one of your earbuds. You can now use either the left or right earbud for listening and calls with Independent Single-Bud Use. This new feature lets you seamlessly switch between your earbuds, and if one earbud runs out of battery life or disconnects from Bluetooth®, you can continue listening with the other earbud without interruption. To access Independent Single-Bud Use, make sure the software on your QuietComfort® Earbuds II is up to date.
I bought these a few months ago and they are the best earbuds I've ever owned. The sound quality is amazing and the noise cancelling is second to none. Exactly what you'd expect from Bose. Could not be happier with this purchase!
I purchased these a month ago instead of the Apple AirPod pros. They have great sound by the connection issues is why I sent them back. I only wear one most of the day. The left one won’t connect because of software issues and the right one has good days and bad days. However, if you wear both all the time then they’re great.

Hi. Thank you for your post. Sorry to hear that you have to return the earbuds. Currently, the software for the QC Earbuds II will not support the left bud only use case. This feature is planned to be added via a firmware update in the future. If only using one earbud, make sure to use the right earbud. The right earbud is the "primary" or main earbud; it controls the left earbud by relaying audio from the source device. If you place the right earbud in the case by itself with audio streaming and close the case, audio will stop, and the earbuds will turn off. The right earbud also has the microphone for phone calls. Make sure you use the right earbud for phone calls. If you have further questions, please reach out to us here. https://bose.life/3BgUIIU. We would love to help. Marvin - Bose Customer Support
The base response was everything I thought it would be, powerful and clear.. However, no matter how I adjusted the EQ the highs were lacking. Acoustic instruments and cymbals sound muffled, as do most vocals even with Mids adjusted. The noise canceling aspect works well. Overall, great base response, but the crisp clarity is not what I expect from Bose.

Hello, it's great to hear you are pleased with the Base response, and that it is powerful and clear. I'm also pleased you feel that the noise-canceling works well. Different sound sources and what sounds good can differ from person to person. I love my Bose earbuds (quiet comfort II) they are discreet, super comfortable even for my small ears, and holy smokes, the sound is incredible. As always, the noise cancellation is phenomenal and really gets you in the zone, helps you get lost in the music or movie or podcast or whatever you listen to.
The bigger rubber wing you attach the better they'll fit but more uncomfortable. I use the second size option and they never come out, not even during cardio training like high intensity running.
