I love these earbuds, especially for the noise canceling capability. I can operate heavy machinery without ear muffler. What I like the most is the ability to control the amount of outside noise I hear. It is important to me to be able to hear changes in the machines operation as well as music. We had a problem with them cutting out but the most recent software update corrected the problem.
I was going to wait until my old earbuds stop working & buy the new Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II but, I'm so glad that I decided otherwise. I'm very happy with the new Bose QuietComfort II. So far so good.
I recently upgraded my original QuietComfort Earbuds to the newer model II. The new ones are smaller, but the case for charging them is un reliable and cryptic. Its hard to tell when its charging the earbuds and what the battery status of the case is in general. The previous model had multiple dots so you could tell when the case needed to be plugged in to refill the case battery. In addition, despite firmly seating the ear buds in the case, often times instead of hearing they now have 100% full charge status, it would return lower numbers indicated they sat in the case for hours and didn't actually charge. The sound of functionality of the earbuds themselves where fine.
Best earbuds but touch sensor requires work for better service
