SmartKey feature is unbelievably simple !

Excellent convenience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this smartkey product as the locks in my 36 unit apartment complex for almost ten years now and I am very pleased. They make it so easy to change the key when a tenant has lost control of their security, or when I turn the apartment for new tenants. I have had trouble with maybe 5 of the locks mysteriously falling out of calibration, but i was able to remove and replace them with very prompt warrantys or simply rekey them with a tool. Fabulous product and excellent customer service!

SmartKey makes security easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In my parents house the key bundle can drop your pants. When I built my house I used all SmartKey deadbolts and handle sets. Each door has a deadbolt and some doors have a matching handleset. I standardized on the 985 Double Cylinder for the deadbolt.
Now the key bundle on my house is only 3 keys, by choice. And still, very secure.

Super Quick Super Easy ReKey

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have single family rental properties and I must rekey for new tenants. Before I had to take the lock cylinder to a locksmith. Meanwhile, my house was unlocked and it was expensive. Now I rekey in minutes using thrown away random keys I get for free at my local building supply store.

Single key for all the doors! And re-keyable!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these locks.... a single key for all the outside doors - front, back and side - makes it so convenient. On top of that I have bought a smartkey kwikset padlock for the gate which also opens with the same key. Convenient and minimalist. No problems for past 2 years. One lock was a bit sticky and was not opening well with the key... I rekeyed it to the same key and now it works smoothly. The satin nickel finish has stayed well.

Do you have to jiggle the keys?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own about 230 of these locks on my rental properties. When it works, things are good. But sometimes the lock will work for one key, but won't work for the identical duplicate keys! Very frustrating. The seem good quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these locks for years and recently bought them again for a new house. I used them on all my exterior doors. It makes it so easy to key all the locks the same, and to change them all if you lose a key. Great lock system!
