Was given a personal bender as a gift. Have used it every day for a month or so, Love this little compact unit. Tucks away easy in the cupboard, quieter than most units. Blends, grinds and chops like crazy. May buy more to gift to other family. The price is also a plus for the quality.

Horrible purchase

This is probably the worst purchase I've ever made. Total junk. From the first time I started using it, during blending the seal would slip out and wrap itself around the blade. The first time I used it, this happened and I had no idea why the blender was suddenly jumping around on the counter and making noise. Since then I'd tried every single way I could think of, putting water on the seal first, tightening the lid on as much as I could, starting on pulse, starting on high, being super gentle when clicking it in, holding it tightly while blending, nothing worked. Finally both seals had been used and both of them broke. So now I have a broken blender.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
