Works great absolutely love it. Had little trouble making a whole loaf of bread. Used the correct amounts and settings made sure it was set to big size setting but seems like to small for it because had went over the top . Next time I’m going to try useing less amount of flour see how that goes.
I use my beadmaker 1x per week. This was Xmas gift 2023. Didn't survive a year without element burning out. I was sleeping & son said something is burning in kitchen. Kind of scary.
My Hamilton Beech lasted 15 years without issue until it just died. No burning.
I just received my bread maker machine but the display looks like it's having something inside, dirt or worse I cannot tell because it's on inside. It's very annoying and so far starfrit it's not helpful about that, they try to make me pay for the return shipping even if it's obvious that it's something wrong from the factory and it's inside the display, behind the glass. Looks almost like mouse excrements but I am not sure without opening it.
While it does get the job done You can tell it's not top end equipment. After almost a year I'm sure the motor inside is getting tired, or my dough is just too much for it. It will make a decent loaf, but the bottom 2inches is pretty tough for anything except frying in egg batter. Haven't used the nut dispenser. I'll probably use it to mix dough and just bake in my own pans from now on.
I just purchased this bread maker and made my first loaf today. I am thoroughly impressed how easy it was to use the bread maker. And talk about delicious. The smell of fresh bread baking is incredible. I'm looking forward to trying the different recipes that are included in the booklet. With the price of bread in grocery stores, this is far more cost effective. The display for all the functions is bright and very easy to read. It runs very quietly. I haven't tried the fruit/nut dispenser yet but plan to soon. The only negative criticism I have right now is I'm worried about the potential for gaining weight.
This bread maker is light weight and extremely noisy. The baking pan is too small for a 900 g loaf, the dough rises right up to the top and even squeezes into the nut dispenser. Will work for a smaller loaf.
I love my machine. I bought one around the end of Dec. or the first of the New Year of this year. I love the way it makes bread my hubby even says it makes good bread. The loaves are smaller but it takes less flour and less ingredients for specialty breads. So about a month ago I bought another one to use for sweet breads, herb breads and raisin bread ect; so my white dough doesn't have the sugar and spice flavors go through my white dough. I love using it to. There is no timer to add raisins but I just let the dough mix for 5-6 minutes and then add them by hand. I haven't used my nut dispenser yet but I will use it or add them gradually as needed like I do my raisins. I'm not one that likes stainless steel but they are nice looking little machines. I'm quite pleased with them both.
