The bread came out just right, tasty and cooked well. I did find that you have to set the size of the loaf after you choose the type bread you're baking.
What a tremendous machine! Does all the same work as the big name ones but at a great price. We like the small footprint and the light weight. Easy to set. Good digital display. Not our first Starfrit and won't be our last either.
we were pleased with the machine and the results it offered. the number of programable choices was wonderful from the old machine we had. we are looking forward to trying some of these features. however, I note that I paid more for it than what is listed on the site.
Pro. Bread tastes good but is heavier than it should be Have not figured out yet what I need to adjust in the recipes.
Cons 1. Very few recipes. Previous bread maker was black and decker and it had lots of recipes 2. The 2lb loaf is smaller than the 2lb loaf I made using the black and decker. Not sure yet what I need to adjust yet in the recipe 3. Comes with measuring utensils and states that these are not standard. And that they should be used and vs normal measuring utensils. ?? What ?? Why would you do that? Then, there are no instructions on how they are to be used? For example when the recipe asks for 4 cups of flour, are you talking real cups of flour or the measurement cup in the box ? 4. The instructions state the measurement cup can hold 200 ml of liquid but in fact it holds more than this 5. I measured the utensils to see what they actually hold… and! They are standard. The tsp holds a tsp, tbs holds a tbs and the measurement cup holds… a cup 6. Comes with a nut dispenser. Very cool. It works! But no recipe in the book that uses it. ??? What?? 7. So in summary I find it confusing/frustrating to use
Just got this bread maker a month ago, absolutely love it. I’ve been making home made bread constantly. Easy to use and makes perfect bread every time. The recipes that came with it are really good too.
I had an old one and decided get myself a new one. It’s so easy to use! I liked that you can do more than one type of bread. My family and I chose french bread and you can also do jam!
