Every loaf I've made has turned out perfectly, although I'm still trying to figure out how to get the raisins distributed evenly throughout the loaf for raisin bread. The only reason for 4 stars is that the lid of the nut bin broke off before I even used it. The bread recipes in the manual (that I've tried so far) are delicious; however, my wish list would also include recipes for Whole Grain breads. I can find some online, but I'm not sure of the proper settings that would be compatible for this machine. The bread maker is very modern and attractive looking, and I leave it on my counter all the time, as I use it twice a week. I would have no hesitation recommending this product to anyone!

Stopped working instantly

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) My bread maker arrived yesterday and I was excited to bake some bread. Read through the manual last night, bought flour and today and was good to go. I cleaned the machine and ran the machine briefly before cleaning it again as per the manual. Attempted to make the small white loaf. Everything seemed to be going smooth for the first few minutes during the kneeding process, I was standing over the machine as this was my first time using it and was pleased to see the dough forming through the tiny window. Then the machine beeped once, the timer reset briefly and the machine shut off and will not turn back on. I can't even get the screen to light up. Nothing happens. Unreal that I bought this thing to try to be economical in the long run and now after buying flour and yeast today I will be going back to the store to buy bread.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just followed the recipes that came with the bread maker, and my bread has turned out perfectly every time.

No experimenting because the bread turned out wonderfully delicious from our first try. It's very compact too so you can tuck it in anywhere. We love it!
