love my fondue

In the past I hated doing a fondue because I was scared of using fuel but now I do not worry anymore since I bought this electric model. I love it and I feel safe. It works very well. I also like the splash guard that holds the forks in place.

This fondue set really sets the tone for an exciting dinner with friends or family, it brings everyone together. Very nice sleek design and heats up right away

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit works great! No more flames that can lead to more mishaps. Electric cord is magnetic for great safety. Whole family loved it with adult supervision.

I bought this three years ago. Love it. Used it, yesterday, for Christmas Eve. When the red light would go out, because the temp had reached the required heat, I would sometimes get a flash/spark, within the base. Not thinking this is safe, so will probably get rid of it. We use it about three times a year, so not impressed that this is happening after only having it for three years. Not thinking that I will buy, buy another one. Will look at other companies. Sorry. I have many Starfrit appliances and have been very happy, with them. This fondue pot…..not so much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
