S4 Twin perfect for sweeping sandy sidewalks

We bought the S4 Twin for sweeping up the sand at a beach house. It does a great job with no back strain like a push broom and no noise from a blower.

I've had this for a few weeks now and only used a couple of times. Purchased this as it was recommended by someone we knew, and we were tired of using the common push broom. So far I am overall pleased with the effectiveness of the product. It was easy to assemble and easy to use right from the get-go. I would say this product will get more abuse than maybe what it is intended for, as its being used in a machine shop with lots of dirt, spilled oil/saw dust, steel shavings, and steel cut offs. Only concerning part about this product is where the handle is secured to the base. The tightening screws doesn't secure as well as they should, which can cause the handle to drop. This will happen when the container is getting near full, too heavy, or if you run over something that catches the wheel and prevents you from moving forward. This product doesn't do a spot less clean job, but it works great for us since it takes a lot less time to get an area clean enough to keep moving forward with incoming projects. I don't knock any points off for this but I am curious how the wheels will hold up in our shop with all the debris it may come across when we are using it. I could definitely go for a Heavy Duty version of this product if they come out with one. At this time, I would probably buy this again, because it does save a lot of time, and is a lot less straining than using a broom.

Strongly recommended for those who must clean concrete floor frequently. I have trees in front and back of the house; it's nice to have shades, but trees also mess up the concrete patio, sidewalk and driveway. with the Karcher S4 sweeper, it cut down the sweeping time from 90 minutes to 20 minutes. I have been using it for a month and really like it, not only for its effectiveness, but also for the high quality built into the product. I highly recommend the product.

I like it. But it leaves some debris, so I have to go over it three or four times. It’s like the rubber in the back keeps it from getting all of it, and I’m not sweeping up big leaves, it’s mostly flat seeds from my neighbors tree. Pick’s up dust really well.
