Very sold product - not a great fit for smaller TV

Great sturdy product. Although also designed for a smaller TV (my case-32 inch). When pushed flat to the wall you see 5-6 inches of the bracket

Design problems, especially for the price

This product isn't all that well designed- the openings for the outlet are puzzling, as they are 3-1/2" square, yet a 2-plug outlet is 5-1/2" high- my fault for not verifying this ahead of time!
They also do not ship with enough variety of screw lengths. The only thing that saved me from a trip to the hardware store was having saved leftover hardware from another install.
The directions are also rather scant.

Long reach, but flexes.

I appreciate how long of a reach this mount can achieve; it's the reason I chose it. If you need the extension length, it's an okay mount, but there are a couple of downsides. Both downsides are connected to it's the forces experienced by the mount when extended. When extended straight out from the wall, all the forces align perpendicular to the dual arms and everything remains aligned. If extended any direction other than straight out, then there's a torque experienced at the hinges. This torque is mostly resisted by the mount, but not completely, so with my mount, when fully out to one side or the other, the torque results in about a 2-degree tilt. The tilt can be corrected for one position, but if moving the TV between multiple positions, a compromise has to be made as to how far out of level is acceptable in the various positions. The same issue of torque drives the 2nd problem. As the torques cause the hinges to twist, the pressure on the washers varies leading to points of increased friction making it hard to move the mount at certain points. Certainly, nothing that can't be overcome w/ a bit more pushing, but wouldn't call the movement `smooth.` Overall, a decent mount, and about the only choice if the available amount of extension is needed, but it's not w/o its drawbacks.

Perfect mount for outdoor tv

I looked around for a long time before finding this mount. I have a shed off to one side of patio and wanted to place a tv inside shed door to protect from weather while being able to rotate tv outside door for viewing on patio. This mount was the perfect answer. Long enough and articulates in the exact right places.

Far from perfect

I'm not that happy with this mount. The further you extend, the more the TV starts to lean to one side. I'm not sure if it's a flaw with my particular mount or with the product in general (I did see one other review with a similar complaint). Fortunately, I didn't actually need the 40" extension, so keeping the TV closer to the wall keeps it level and very stable. However, the price is not justified without the extension.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A great problem solver

I work for an audio/video installation contractor. This mount is very unique in the sense that it extends farther than any mount I've ever worked with. This is a great option for floating TVs in deep cabinets
Upon unboxing, the packaging was incomplete (it was missing a foam side) but thankfully the mount was still in decent shape with only a few small surface scratches.
It installed easily and is a fairly conventional design. Slim on hardware for the TV interface, but in this case the correct hardware was included.
This particular install was a 65" LG OLED in a cabinet that had around 3" clearance on all sides. After carefully measuring, the gap on the top was at least an inch larger than it should have been. It was immediately obvious there is a significant sag with this mount the farther you extend it out. The single arm had a noticeable angle downward. Easy enough fix, which is to slide the TV interface down, which pushes the TV up. However the TV interface has limited holes to interface with the TVs VESA pattern. The limited holes are from extra stamping in the rails to accept the cross bars. In this case, the wall portion of the mount had to be re-mounted. Annoying but not the end of the world.
Note the wall portion of the mount can only span 16" total. This is usually enough for 2 studs, but I do wish it was larger to offer more flexibility.
All in all I would use it again but would let the client know there will be extra labor to fine tune the TV's position.
