Lasted 4.5 years.? But, when it's only used 1 - 2 times a week, on a 2 ah battery, and only gets charged 1 time per month, I don't think that's very good. I have other Dewalt tools lasting well over 8 years now. Would not recommend to anyone due to the dissapointing life span.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simply perfect for small quick projects!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago for my wife who had a hard time getting my gas powered blower started. She uses it a lot while cleaning up after planting her garden and flowers. Also this time of year (spring), blowing pollen and other droppings from the trees off the deck and porch. It doesn’t replace the gas powered blowers for doing yard work, but it does work perfectly for what she uses it for. Great addition to the tool shed! I highly recommend it for small projects!

Ran great for a while

This product ran great for the first year or two. Then it began cutting out. Battery was good. I'd just have to keep clicking the on/off button. Very frustrating. Now out of warranty. So I'll search for a more reliable compact blower. I think I need to move away from DeWalt products and try something else.

Great Little Blower!

I use this blower on every job. It's great for blowing dirt, saw dust, or vinyl chips around. It's not a leaf blower, if you need a leaf blower buy one. This is made to fit in your box and blow dirt, dust, and saw dust. All the extensions and fitting fit snug and work as expected. I think the people who left bad reviews didn't understand how to use them.

Light-weight and Powerful

Just bought a third unit. Somehow my daughter decided she love my second one. All of us love the power. Being light-weight makes it a joy to use.

Great blower for the jobsite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this thing for cleaning up sawdust etc at a job site. Uses the same 20v platform as the rest of my work tools. The tube comes off easily without tools so it all can fit into a worksite box or truck bed tool box. I also bought a larger Dewalt blower for use at home!
