Excellent Power Station! Solar Charging a Plus!

From Westinghouse I have 2 of these, the solar panel & gas generator too. Great portable power options that work great.
The iGen300s is a great for a power outage especially with the included AC (wall) and DC (vehicle) chargers.
I have used it too show a potential buyer that the desktop PC works. Hooked it up to a TV & PC at the same time in the back of my vehicle.

Wish it was reliable

We bought the Westinghouse Igen300 about a year and a half ago with high expectations. We used it twice for a few hours for power outages. After only a few uses we had a similar issue to the user below where if we tried to use it, it would instantly have no charge. When we tried to charge it, it would start from about 50% and within a few minutes show fully charged. However as soon as you unplugged it it would die again. Honestly for the price it's extremely disappointing to have only gotten a couple uses out of it. Since we are out of the warranty, we are kind of stuck so we will probably be looking at other brands just to see if we have better luck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plugged it in to charge it up, the unit would say it's charged, then after I remove the plug, got no power from the unit. Plugged it back in again, and battery meter showed the battery was dead. I repeated the process again to charge the unit, and again the battery would be dead in less than 30 seconds.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
